Joe Leoce dropped by Hard Drive Studios to begin a new Hello Brooklyn track – “Different Place, Different Time”. Joe was a member of Brooklyn’s own Matrex Square from 1966-1970 which was fronted by the future sax player for Billy Joel and Ringo Starr’s musical director Mark Rivera. Joe had not picked up a guitar for over 20 and had not been in a band since Matrex broke up but showed up ready to rock on THHB’s newest original. Besides bringing his musical chops to the studio Joe hails from the same part of Brooklyn as yours truly – Borough Park.
